Make it modest, don’t cover it up. You purchased a beautiful gown with wonderful bodice detail but you need to make it modest. So you think of a bolero, but that just covers up your wonderful gown.
I have designed this back zip bolero to be worn under the dress so that you don’t have to worry about it flapping open. The back zipper allows you to sew the bolero to the dress and not have to worry about it sliding out of place. Over the years I have refashioned many wedding dress in order to make them modest for LDS standards.
