I sometimes wish every girl had access to a sewing machine and training in how to use it. I suppose this is an unrealistic wish. But I do not hesitate to say that you can be attractive without being immodest." President Gordon B Hinckley

It is my wish to be able to provide anyone who wants it affordable training on how to use a sewing machine. I believe that anyone can teach themselves anything with the right tools. Sewing isn't difficult it's just something different at first and the more you learn building step by step with the right tools - It will become something familiar. In starting a sewing group for the Santa Rosa Relief Society I found that it was easier to teaching sewing through projects. I developed the following projects to teach beginning sewing.

If you would like to register for a project based sewing class please call 760-808-5532, To schedule a time that is good for you. They are $15 per class project, class meeting 2 hour max, with a max of 3 students. Some projects below you can choose from or you can bring your own pattern/project and I'll teach you how to work through it.

	This Baby Bib project teaches you fabric manipulation as you go around the corners. Great for a first time student.
	This Nursing cover project teaches you how to work with varying seam widths, clipping curves to turn the fabric correclty and Top Stitching.
	This Bag projcet teaches you how to work with batting to add fullnes and stability, gathering excess fabric into less fabric to creat gathers.
